we join Anchors Aweigh Records

Runes is a new musical project made up of Dick Smith and Joseph Hayes from The Legacy and Andre Suergiu from Gold Kids. Five songs were recorded at Sleepwalkers Studio in Sardinia, Italy with Gabriele Boi in March 2010 and mastered by Cult of Luna’s Magnus Lindberg.

The S/T 7” featuring artwork from Black Sails Design is due to be released in the summer on Anchors Aweigh Records and will feature the three songs: Age of Enlightenment, Human, all too Human and New Old Wounds.

It's been a while since we've posted an update but we've been spending most of the time waiting to get the tracks back from the studio and tweaking them. These things take time but it's finally coming together.

All the tracks have been mixed and finalized. We need to send them off to get mastered and then we're done so expect a track to be on our myspace soon enough.

Originally the plan was to do 4 songs for a 7" but things never go as planned. We now have 3 songs to put on a 7" to be released in the summer on Anchors Aweigh records. Afterwards those 3 songs plus 2 others we recorded will end up on a CD.

We'll be touring Europe around the same time but we'll announce that shit when it's actually sorted.
